Next stop: National Finals in Fafe!
Meet Aeroflux, CLIP’s exceptional STEM Racing team (formerly F1 in Schools), and the new Regional Champions at the CATIM Finals!
Combining the fastest car, cutting-edge engineering, a standout verbal presentation, and an industry-leading business strategy, the team delivered an all-around performance that dominated the competition and brought home all the trophies.
Aeroflux will now take on the National Finals in Fafe this June. Congratulations to Matilde, Marta, Afonso, Miguel, Pedro, and Guilherme, our brilliant Aerof1ux representatives, who competed against dozens of other teams in the world’s most important STEM challenge to secure a well-deserved spot at the World Finals in Singapore later this year.
We’re also grateful to Stem Racing Portugal and Pense Indústria for hosting such a memorable event at Base Aérea N.º 8 in Ovar. We also have to thank Caetano Baviera BMW for supporting the team with electric mobility.
About STEM Racing
STEM Racing is a global competition that challenges students to design, build, and race miniature Formula 1-style cars using advanced engineering, science, and technology. Beyond racing, teams must create a brand, pitch their project to expert judges, and operate a fully-fledged business, making it a powerful, hands-on experience in innovation and entrepreneurship.
