CLIP – The Oporto International School, accredited by the Council of International Schools (CIS), was established in 1990 and has approximately 1200 students, aged 3 to 18, from over 50 countries. All students have an education that upholds the highest academic standards within a globally minded learning culture. CLIP follows an adapted version of the National Curriculum for England, building strong foundations in core subjects before moving on to Cambridge International programmes and qualifications, including IGCSE and A-Level/AICE Diploma. The curriculum emphasises STEM, humanities, languages, and the arts, fostering independent learning and critical thinking. Digital tools are integrated across disciplines, highlighting CLIP’s commitment to digital literacy.
