We are thrilled to share that four of our exceptionally talented students have secured their spots as finalists in the prestigious Sovereign Art Foundation's Portugal Students Prize 2025! Bia Pereira, Rafaela Nascimento, Nazmiye Öz, Arthur Queiroz have made it to the competition's shortlist.

A proud moment for CLIP and educational exchange!    On May 24, the 3rd Chinese Ambassador Scholarship and the China-Portugal Education Exchange Contribution Award were celebrated in a special ceremony, honoured by the presence of Ambassador Zhao Bentang.   Congratulations to Dra Zhang Yan, the Director of the Confucius Classroom at CLIP and Confucius Institute at the University of Minho, and CLIP's CEO, Dr Francisco Marques, for receiving the Education Exchange Contribution Award!    Dr Rui Vieira de Castro, Rector of the University of Minho, reflected on nearly 20 years of partnership with Nankai University, emphasising how education builds bridges between nations. He also highlighted the Confucius Classroom at CLIP as a major step in expanding cultural and academic cooperation in northern Portugal - a milestone first unveiled by Ambassador Cai Run, now Head of the Chinese Mission to the EU.   Here is to growing cooperation, innovation, and friendship between China and Portugal! 

Next stop: National Finals in Fafe!   Meet Aeroflux, CLIP’s exceptional STEM Racing team (formerly F1 in Schools), and the new Regional Champions at the CATIM Finals!    Combining the fastest car, cutting-edge engineering, a standout verbal presentation, and an industry-leading business strategy, the team delivered an all-around performance that dominated the competition and brought home all the trophies.    Aeroflux will now take on the National Finals in Fafe this June. Congratulations to Matilde, Marta, Afonso, Miguel, Pedro, and Guilherme, our brilliant Aerof1ux representatives, who competed against dozens of other teams in the world’s most important STEM challenge to secure a well-deserved spot at the World Finals in Singapore later this year.    We’re also grateful to Stem Racing Portugal and Pense Indústria for hosting such a memorable event at Base Aérea N.º 8 in Ovar.  We also have to thank Caetano Baviera BMW for supporting the team with electric mobility.      About STEM Racing  STEM Racing is a global competition that challenges students to design, build, and race miniature Formula 1-style cars using advanced engineering, science, and technology.
