CLIP – Oporto International School, accredited by the Council of International Schools (CIS), was established in 1990 and has approximately 1200 students, aged 3 to 18, from over 50 countries. All students have an education that upholds the highest academic standards within a globally minded learning culture. CLIP follows an adapted version of the National Curriculum for England, building strong foundations in core subjects before moving on to Cambridge International programmes and qualifications, including IGCSE and A-Level/AICE Diploma. The curriculum emphasises STEM, humanities, languages, and the arts, fostering independent learning and critical thinking. Digital tools are integrated across disciplines, highlighting CLIP’s commitment to digital literacy.
For the academic year 2026-2027, we are recruiting a qualified Middle and Upper School Performing Arts teacher.

All students are provided with an education which promotes the highest academic standards within a learning culture that is explicitly internationally minded. CLIP fosters an innovative, challenging and warm environment for learning, where each child is encouraged to develop their unique talents.
CLIP follows the EYFS, an adapted National Curriculum for England, the Cambridge IGCSE curriculum and Cambridge AS and A2 studies.
The city of Porto, built along the hillsides overlooking the mouth of the Douro river, is an outstanding urban landscape with a 2,000-year history. The city is located where the Douro River meets the sea and its city centre was classified as a UNESCO World Heritage site. CLIP's premises is situated in one of the most prestigious areas of Porto, at a walking distance from the sea, and constitutes an important architectural project.
For the academic year 2026-2027 (September), we are looking to recruit an experienced and dedicated Mathematics Teacher for Middle and Upper School (ages 9 to 18).
