CLIP Wraps Up Its Largest Solidarity Event with Record Funds Raised

Our Community embraced the season with kindness and generosity, raising over 13,000€ at the 2024 Xmas Bazaar to support local and international organisations.

Attendees of CLIP's annual Xmas Bazaar, held on Saturday, experienced a vibrant atmosphere filled with joy, kindness, and holiday spirit. From 10:30 AM to 5:00 PM, hundreds of members of our extended Community gathered at the solidarity market to kickstart their holiday shopping, savour diverse cuisines, and enjoy the artistic talents of our students.

In the pavilion, our main hall, over 60 stalls organised by students and external vendors showcased a variety of products, including candles, jewellery, fashion, Christmas decorations, second-hand toys, and a wide selection of books. In the canteen, our food court offered traditional Portuguese comfort food alongside delectable South African barbecue and Spanish delicacies. For those with a sweet tooth, an array of seasonal desserts was also available—truly something for everyone!

Across two stages, our hosts Nova, Leonor, Beatriz, and João introduced an exciting lineup of performances, featuring karate demonstrations, musical acts, dance routines, and circus arts. The main stage also provided a platform for representatives from the supported institutions to highlight their incredible work and the impact of this event.

Beyond the main spaces, the festive buzz extended into the corridors. With music echoing through the halls, visitors could create lasting memories at the Media Club's photo booth, immerse themselves in the thrills of the Grinch's House, test their reaction times with Aeroflux's high-speed car launches, or explore woodcraft and cookie-making activities. Clippers in Motion were also busy with a 2nd-hand uniform, books & toys sale, all kindly donated by the Community.

CLIP's Xmas Bazaar was a true celebration of cheer, unity, and community spirit. Its success was made possible by the collective effort of dozens of Clippers in Motion volunteers, the PTA, our dedicated staff, and our hardworking students, all tirelessly supported by their families.

Late nights, early mornings, and tireless dedication—together, we proved once again that "We Are One" is more than just a phrase; it's a feeling deeply woven into the fabric of our Community. The 2024 Xmas Bazaar stands as a testament to this unity and collective generosity.

Thanks to your incredible efforts, time, and generosity, we surpassed last year's results, raising over 13,000€ to directly benefit the following institutions: Gasporto, Ataca, Salvation Army, Vida Norte, Ajudaris, Ajuda com Sentido, Porto Solidário, Acreditar, Fundação Ronald McDonald, VivAnimal, WCK Valencia, and Valencia Adopta un Comercio.
