CLIP's Pool

Kids Dive is a dynamic educational experience that aims to deepen the knowledge of the Ocean while raising awareness of marine ecosystems and their conservation. All the activities are interconnected and have two underlying principles: "learning by doing" and "knowing to protect".

This approach links closely to CLIP's Vision and Mission and the development of 21st-century competencies such as critical thinking, environmental awareness or citizenship. 

Sessions Overview

Diving: Diving experience with underwater activities that reference the themes covered during the workshops;

Workshop on Plastic Removal from Ocean: This is presented by members of the Portuguese Marine Litter Association (APLM);

Workshop on Marine Biodiversity: This workshop was developed by educators from Lisbon Zoo.

Kids Dive @ CLIP is open to students in F3 (8yo or older) to F8, and parents are welcome to join in the fun with their children, too. The participation cost, including insurance, is set at €92 per person. In the event fewer than 60 people sign up, there is a possibility that the price can be adjusted up to €123 per participant. The event will not take place if fewer than 45 people sign up.
