CLIP awarded with eSafety Silver Label
April 20 2021
CLIP has been making continuous efforts in improving its technological infrastructures, policies, and practices to ensure and promote a safe online learning environment to all.
Although the current pandemic has highlighted the importance of online learning tools and environments, over the past few years CLIP has been making continuous efforts in improving its technological infrastructures, policies, and practices to ensure and promote a safe online learning environment for all.
To support us in this process of continuous improvement and provide future guidance, CLIP decided to submit a report to the eSafety Label Accreditation Process - a European Union-sponsored accreditation process for schools, aiming to provide a secure and enriching environment for safe access to online technology as part of the teaching and learning experience.
As an outcome of the report submitted in March, CLIP was awarded the eSafety Silver Label.
This silver status is the second-highest level and it is awarded to a selected number of schools that have shown:
- solid and secure technological infrastructures;
- comprehensive policies addressing different aspects of online safety;
- consistent practices in promoting awareness of safety-related issues and dealing with any type of incidents.
