Adapted from the National Curriculum for England and based in internationally-recognised standards of excellence, the curriculum in Lower School aims to plant the seed for curiosity and passion for learning, whilst developing essential academic, social and emotional competencies; and foundational knowledge and skills in numeracy and literacy.
Lower School is divided into three stages:
- Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS) - Pre-Kindergarten and Kindergarten (3 to 5 years-olds)
- Key-Stage 1 – Reception and Form 1 (5 to 7 year-olds)
- Key-Stage 2 – Forms 2, 3 and 4 (7 to 10 year-olds)
In Lower School and set within the curriculum, children are provided with rich and varied learning experiences, are encouraged to think creatively and critically, to solve problems and to make a difference for the better.
