CLIP - Oporto International School, accredited by the Council of International Schools (CIS), was established in 1990 and is now a fast-growing school with approximately 1200 students aged 3 to 18 from 50+ countries. We are seeking a talented WordPress Designer & Manager to join our team and play a key role in ensuring the success of our school's online presence. In addition to designing and developing the website, the selected candidate will be responsible for updating and managing content on the website to ensure its relevance, accuracy, and alignment with the school's objectives.

 

Responsibilities

  1. Collaborate with designers, content creators, and team members to align website design and functionality
  2. Design and build the front-end to meet the school's requirements.
  3. Update and manage website content regularly to ensure relevance, accuracy, and alignment with the school's objectives.
  4. Optimise website performance, including page load times, security, and SEO effectiveness.
  5. Manage the design and maintenance of WordPress-based systems.
  6. Coordinate different departments to enhance customer interactions and cooperation levels.
  7. Monitor direct competitors' customer relationship strategies.
  8. Analyse customer behaviour and measure its impact on business outcomes to update strategies.
  9. Conduct meetings to discuss website design and functionality.
  10. Demonstrate an interest in content management for social platforms.

 

Requirements

  1. Proven experience in web design, WordPress development, and management.
  2. Strong understanding of web technologies, SEO principles, and performance optimisation techniques.
  3. Excellent communication skills and a very good level of English proficiency.
  4. Ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
  5. Strong analytical skills and attention to detail.
